Doing our bit to help protect the environment is important to us at Contiki. We want to help make it easy for you to travel the world, see new things and have a great time along the way – it’s what we do best and we are proud to also play our part in protecting the planet for the future.

Contiki is a founding contributor to The Leading Travel Companies of the World Conservation Foundation. Through this foundation, $US1 million per year will be allocated towards projects all around the world that help protect the environment, give back to local communities or support sustainable tourism – important stuff!

In our company offices worldwide, we are working towards reducing the impact of our everyday activities by monitoring and minimising our waste, energy use and paper consumption. Contiki’s also giving back to the local communities in which we operate, with every single staff member being given the opportunity to spend two working days a year volunteering for an approved charity of their choice, all on company time.

One of the biggest bonuses is, travelling by coach is one of the most environmentally friendly ways to get around. And to help further reduce the environmental impact of your trip, we’ve provided you with information through our relationships with recommended carbon neutral providers, giving you the option to offset your carbon emissions produced on your travels.
